The Summerlands Guest house is one of many guest houses that are ideally situated in Torquay at the heart of the English Riviera. We offer bed and breakfast accommodation for your holiday in Torquay Devon. Our B&B is approximately 2 minutes walk away from Torre Abbey Beach and the English Riviera Conference and Leisure Centre. A further few minutes walk and you are at the Princes theatre and the start of the Marina which leads to the harbour at the heart of Torquay. The harbour area contains a wide selection of restaurants, cafes, amusement arcades and bars and shops and leads onto the main Fleet Street shopping area.
Torquay caters for all ages and interest groups and from those looking for a relaxing break to those seeking a more hectic time in the many restaurants bars and clubs.
With an agreeable climate, Torquay offers an all year round destination for a short break, and the Summerlands guest house provides an ideal base from which to explore the Jurassic Coastal Scenery, the estuaries of the Dart, Teign and Exe and the bleak beauty of Dartmoor. |

Bus Routes in Torquay |
The No.12 bus (every 10 mins) to Paignton and Brixham departs from the sea front bus stop to Newton Abbot. The bus stop is just passed the police station (South Street).
The No.32 Bus (every 20 mins) to St. Mary Church and Babbacome, Departs from Lucius Street.
The land Train is approximately every 35 mins and does a full around town tour and many stops are available. The bus stop is in front of Alberts Bar, by the Derwent Hotel in Belgrave Road. |
